If you have been paying attention, which I bet most have not, lack there of an audience. You may seen that WordPress is becoming a pain in my side. The CSS is so over bloated and over complicated. It just make the task of getting my site up and running a little slow. I recommend learning all you can about how the inners of WordPress workings, before taking on the design. There are so many little details about the page, that can mess up a current layout/design. I hope in the end with all the changes I am making to the style.css will benefit my website and possible future in the design/web industry.
I never blogged before, and here it goes. I just started this new site to show off my skills as a web designer and a graphic designer. I still need to create most of the pages and gallery. I also plan on creating a similar flash website, which will have music and other high bandwidth mediums. I hope I can show off my 3d designs and animation. In the last few months from the time I purchased the domain, I couldn’t make a choice in the look and layout of the site. so I choose a blog style setup. As of today I figured out how to redesign templates for WordPress. The coverage of the website will be in this blog, as well as the problems that I am facing, such as my 2 week problem with GoDaddy.Com.
Two weeks ago I saw that GoDaddy added a feature that allowed you to backup the current mySQL database. Well, when I hit that backup button, something happened to the database. There was an error that kept the database in a “backup limbo”. This “limbo” was what kept me from editing some database information and outputted some rather interesting results from a query. This error was so huge that it went to the web developers of GoDaddy.com and it took them 2 weeks to fix. I love it when a person like myself seems to discover bugs in large gigantic hosting company’s, like GoDaddy.
From delays you get inspiration, I made up some decisions in the direction of my website development.
